GREAT GREAT RESPONSE!!!! The whole Finnish scene was just a variation of Strato sound either with growl, female or even gothic vocals.

Tolkki production still Sound perfect today. You play Episode or Visions in a Good stereo and it sounds so fresh, like It was produced las week.

Great answer. I especially wouldn't want to hear a rerecording of, say, Fourth Dimension, because those synth sounds would sound different now unless they took great care to use those exact same sounds from that period. Galaxies sounds so cool because it sounds like that time.

At that time i was very young, and soon I've listened to Episode and Visions albums I thought that I've never listened nothing like that before, talking about quality sound. It was a new step in metal sound engeneering in my opinion.

Those albums made me want to hear every single thing that came out of Finnvox Studios. That 90s Stratovarius production is pretty much the benchmark that I compare all other power metal albums to.

I respect Jens opinion but I would definitely have chosen Fourth Dimension lol the songs are amazing but the production quality sounds pretty low-budget and primitive. They really hit their stride production-wise after that though.

Better recreate the new albums with the production of the 90s... Today the guitar and drums sound cold and thin. In the 90s they sound powerful

An underrated gem in Stratovarius’ discography, would love to see some songs from this album in the setlist when the album reaches 40th anniversary eg. songs like Future Shock, False Messiah, Fire Dance and Witch Hunt.

Many bands are irritatingly coy about their former members — I can think of several who will avoid even posting anything where you can hear a former singer’s voice. Very glad you guys aren’t like that!

Really nice album to be honest and different! Was very very lucky to actually see Tolkki performing Fright Night live back in 2017 in Athens. And also was very lucky to see Stratovarius live in Athens 2011 with Helloween and last year in Chania Rock Festival. Always hoping for a reunion with no one departing from the band, like Helloween.

I wasn' t born so I am not sure but all the main pages say that it was released on: May 11th, 1989 - I' d like to know how could it be...

You need a reunion tour with the old songs and classics!!..The world need that 🔥!

You come to Florida on tour I'll take you wherever you want to go and whatever you want to see. And hopefully y'all will come to the US soon.

Last year Stratovarius played at Chihuahua, Mexico. It was a small bar but the band gave us everything they had that night. After the show there was no meet and greet which I was sad about but It was understandable, the band was playing almost every other night on their Mexico tour. But Mr. Lauri here was really kind to come to the audience after the show and take pictures with us. I told him I drove from Oklahoma to Chihuahua just to see them play and he said “ Oh! Thank you so much for doing that!” Then he took a photo with me.

I wanna be part of that "Lauri Tours™"! 🤪🤘✨
